Mr Geoffory Wanless - Chief Executive Officer
Geoff Wanless has over 20 years of experience in successfully bringing emerging technologies to market. He has travelled and worked extensively in Europe, Asia and the USA in building strategic alliances and B2B/B2C channels. He has held several senior executive roles within multinationals including Philips, Bosch and Sanmina-SCI corporation.
During his 10 years tenure at Philips he was tasked with new business creation from the ground up through to strategic development for a Philips joint venture in Japan. While at Philips he successfully initiated and completed a strategic technology investment in California’s silicon valley. In his last role for Philips as CEO of a pioneering new global business unit for lighting, he led the growth to over $160 million revenue.
At Bosch Security Systems he carried out a business acquisition in aged care telecom systems as well as business restructuring and growth for Sanmina-SCI’s Global Technology Solutions business in Europe.
More recently he negotiated and completed a JV in medical imaging in China for an Australian partner and also acted as President and CEO of a Chinese medical device company.
Geoff’s skill set includes organizational development from creation of major business processes through to installation of key metrics to diagnose performance and aid business success. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Geoff has an honours degree in Physics from Kings College, London University and is trained assessor in European foundation for quality management, a holistic approach to business excellence championed by major European corporations .
